Hi im Bonnie and i'm a year 8 at gisborne intermediate. I like surfing, tumbling, baking and dancefit. I also have two brothers, and a dog named Maggie

Teleporting around the world!

 Today in class we learnt how to make a WeVideo. In it we had to include a magic trick, we teleported round the world. I found finding the background for Paris and Japan easy but Antarctica was hard because the snow was alway covering us up. I also found this funny because of the fails.

Sort the comments

In class we had to sort between good and bad comments. if we thought they were good they'd get a thumbs up and if they were bad they would get a thumbs down. After that we had to reply to the comments saying what we thought about them for example if it was bad we might say that we thought it was bad because it gave away personal stuff, and had bad spelling. You can't see the comment though because they didn't show. 

All About me 2020

We were learning about our digital footprints that we leave, also making sure nothing personal is shared online.

I found it hard to see what we need to keep to ourselves or post online

I found it easy to make the digital picture of our face because I have done it before at my old school.

Next time I might try to add more detail to my writing to make it more interesting.

We have been learning about Storybird, this is our second attempt. We are allowed to change the picture but not the words that are set!  The Chase was created on Storybird, Storybird is a website that you can write poems, long form books or picture books on! I think it's super fun because it's a good chance to be creative.

Chromebook Caution

In class we have been learning to look after our chromebooks.
I found this learning weird because someone has broken their chromebook in our class recently!
